Awesome Color Splash

What is Color Splash Photography?

Is a basic photo editing technique that is use to accentuate certain features of a photograph. By leaving certain areas of a photo colored, and filling the rest of the photo with gray scale, one can highlight certain parts of an image to make them stand out.
The most common graphic editing programs used to achieve color splashing are Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, Color Splash Studio on Mac, Gimp, and others online.
I used PS7 and Gimp to achieve my first Color Splash and by watching several videos on You Tube.

Fashion Swap Party (Updates)

Hello Everyone!

Just as I promise, here are some pics of my first Fashion Swap Party. It was a success! I can't believe the treasures these ladies brought to swap around...Beautiful blouses, purses, belts, scarves, shoes, jewelry, fashion essentials, books, candles, etc...This was really fun and everyone took home something new to wear, to use or to give it out to someone special. I'm already thinking for a second Swap!!! Hmm let me think...PAINTINGS!

I arrange my Living Room space (move some furniture to my studio area) and transform it into a boutique, this was exhausting but also all worth it!

My awesome family members and friends that came to this party eager to start shopping, chat and eat yummy bites. Pure Awesomeness!!!

"Try it on", "This is beautiful", "I can use this", "I need this purse", "I can give this to my niece", I feel like I'm in Charlie Charming", "The wings are yummy", "I have to do this at my Church", "Great Idea", I need this", and many more wonderful words these ladies said at the party, this was music to my ears!!!

Soooo sad when is over! but we all have a great time.

Blue Orchids

They are gorgeous! These are my mother's orchids, Blue Orchids☺♥☺

She has several kinds of orchids in the house. They are one of my favorite flowers☺♥☺

So Pretty!

For Mother's Day I got these gorgeous flowers made by my sister.

She always likes to do something handmade on special occasions such as this one.

She attached this handmade flower bouquet to the wrapped gift.

So beautiful! Love the details on each flower!.

She uses Cold Porcelain and Hardy Clay to create these real like flower bouquets.

She also made these Beautiful and Yummy butterfly cookies. She painted them with color icing, sooo AWESOME. They look so beautiful at my table, that I don't even want to eat them! Big temptations!!!

For my mother she created this amazing "Legacy of a wonderful WOMAN" shallow box frame. Where she added photos of her and all the women in her life. This was a jaw dropping creation!!! WOW!

We keep telling her to open her own business of her handmade creations, she knows how to paint, sew, sculpting, jewelry making, crochet, knitting and she even had done party events decorations but, her answer always is; "I do it because I like it, don't want to make a profit on everything that I create" It's frustrating!!! but I had learned a lot from my sister when it comes to art making and I know I can always count on her if I need an advice or help. Love you Big Sis☺♥☺

Gypsies/Bohemians of Hollywood

Can gypsies cast spells, influencing our styles?

I think from my childhood they had already done the job, since little I have always like to wear lots of jewelry, scarves, long skirts, headbands, and listen to whimsical and flamenco music—but can they even cast spells?

Spells are not a part of their tarot card work, but many have been influenced by their fashion. Music artists confirm influences in their dress and through their songs.

Stevie Nicks achieved both. Her “Gypsy style” was addicting. In her song “Gypsy” she created a true love for the gypsy, as she portrays herself on the floor; of a room that she loved, with some lace and paper flowers. Then, people we admire unknowingly, influence our personalities as well as our style. Now let us look at the true picture....
