A Prayer To My Mother

 My Mother, she's so Beautiful!

There was an ERROR! Wow, Biopsy part II
My Mother's thoughts;
"Well; tomorrow at 7am I will be going into Florida Hospital for another Liver Biopsy. Turns out that the one that was done 12 days ago, was not done correctly , thus the info was not relevant to me. WOW. Here comes another scare on my body. Wish they were Tatoos....My Oncologist referred me to a Liver Specialist and showed us the previous results......(no comments from me at this time).............., just get it done again!!!!!!!!!!! But, we are almost sure; that I will probably have to go into Liver surgery (very risky) - I will evaluate this, after receiving the results from Biopsy. And with my History; I am mentally preparing myself and my love ones for our next challenge. Don't forget Prayers and Good Thoughts are warranted". LUV

A Prayer To My Mother
Heavenly Father Author of Life, Healer of Wounds, Source of Abundance, Unconditional Love and Mercy, please hold (My Mother), in the palm of your hand and look at the two tumors in her liver more closely, examine it, heal it, strengthen the weak parts, reconnect the areas that are loose, mend it and make her liver new again.
Please direct, guide and bless the hands, minds, eyes, and instruments of the team of professionals, liver surgeon, the anesthesiologists, specialized nurses, medical attendants assigned to do the surgery tomorrow and every person that touches her. Invite them to focus their minds to the tasks at hand and make each one of them perform their assigned tasks O Lord perfectly and precisely attuned to your command as the Great Conductor, Divine Healer and Comforter.
O Holy Spirit and Comforter, breathe love and peace to the family and love ones, that they may continue to feel your warmth and love on this day of the surgery.
Assure us that Gladys Martinez will be healed fast and soon as she will continue to serve you, called her to do for the proclamation of Christ goodness, grace and mercy. We call on the intercession of our Blessed Virgin Mary, all the angels and saints in heaven, especially St. Monica today, (She named me in her honor).

We lift up our prayers in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit who lives forever and ever. Amen.
I Love You Mom, you are my HERO!☺♥☺
☺♥☺Thank you for all your positive thoughts, good vibes, prayers and support towards me and my family.
Big Hugs☺♥☺

It's almost over!!!

October-Breast Cancer Awareness month is almost over and I don't want to say good bye just yet.

My dear Mother, Gladys has recovered very well from her MAMAS surgery and we all are looking forward to a new chapter into our lives. She desided to leave everything in God's hands. She does not like the idea of going into Quimo once again and we are 100% supporting her decision. I know in my heart and believes that she will come out victorious in this fight. God Bless You Today and Always!!! I love you Mom.

Sending you my thoughts and prayes for those who are still fighting cancer and hope you all find any support system (families, friends, support groups) they are an important part when dealing with cancer and what it does to a human soul.
Here are some thoughts for you:

What Cancer Will Not Do
Cancer is so limited...
It cannot cripple love.
It cannot shatter hope.
It cannot corrode faith.
It cannot eat away peace.
It cannot destroy confidence.
It cannot kill friendships.
It cannot shut out memories.
It cannot silence courage.
It cannot reduce eternal life.
It cannot quench the Spirit.
You are in God's Hands.

A Simple Pink Ribbon

The Pink Ribbon is symbolic of Feminity due to its pink color and soft
rounded contours. It could signify womanhood and sisterhood...it is
representative of two arms embracing, crossed in a soft and gentle gesture
of caring. It can be said that the inside space of the ribbon is shaped like
an inverted tear drop, because Breast Cancer can turn your life upside
down and for all the sadness that this disease can bring.

It could also be said that at the point where the ribbon overlaps, it holds
a space for hope. A place of determination and spirit to quietly rest.
It is a sign of strength of the heart and soul. It keeps out bitterness and
despair. The tails of the ribbon flare gently outward indicative of the
direction that we must move in, to provide research to conquer this disease.

It tells the story of persistence and patience, of assertiveness and of ability,
of connecting and conducting.

It is not just a simple pink ribbon, is it?

I will wear my pink ribbon to honor every woman I know who has faced
the challenge of Breast Cancer and for every woman that I will never
know as well.
by Catherine McQuade RN

My mother found this poem on a brochure while visiting her oncologist and
she wanted me to share it with all of you. I never thought that this simple pink ribbon
would be so meaningful to my life and my family and that's why...
I WEAR PINK FOR MY MOTHER TODAY!

WHAT SHE WILL DO?

"Reflection Of The Past"
Acrylic on canvas
by Jsade

She received dreadful news
an unfair sentence that would throw her in a loop
A declare war with an implacable enemy.

And my question is.....
What will she do?
Will she hide in the bunker of desolation
with webs of depression
will she laid in the trenches
of self pity and there be
consumed by the uncertainty
of the unknown.
Will she raise the white flag
of defeat before the battle is fought.

And my question is.....
What will she do?
I know what my mother will do.
She will stand firm
with the resolved of a thousand men army.
She will put her valor armor,
with the sword of her faith
she will slain all her fears.
She will stare her enemy in the face,
and fight the good fight to the bitter end.

The chemo in this battle
will make her body weak
but her spirit and determination
will continue to battle the fight.

Her body will be wounded
in this battle for life,
her body will change
will look diferent,
scars wil lbe present after this war,
but her spirit will continue strong.

And her warrior spirit
with her determination
will be declared victorious
she will win this war.

And my question to you is..........
What will you, your sister, mother, aunt will do?
What will you do?
