I start it this painting yesterday and this is the first time I'm painting an Orchid, this is a big challenge. A friend of mine requested, of course I said: "Sure I can do it". I never thought it would be this hard to paint this type of flower, they have some many details, no wonder their so exotic and have unique forms. I'll be adding some special effects finishes on this challenging project. (work in progress)

I love your orchid! It is one of my favorite flowers. You have such beautiful detail in your painting and I love the colors.
